SUNESS Showcases Energy Storage Solutions at NNEPIE 2026 in Nigeria

From September 16 to 18, 2026, the Nigeria International New Energy & Power Industry Expo (NNEPIE 2026) was held in Lagos, Nigeria.

As an important B2B platform for the new energy and power industry, the exhibition brought together companies and professionals from the solar, energy storage, power equipment and renewable energy sectors. The event provided an opportunity to explore the growing energy storage market in Nigeria and West Africa.

SUNESS at NNEPIE 2026

At the exhibition, SUNESS showcased a range of energy storage products and solutions, including residential energy storage, commercial and industrial energy storage, high-voltage battery systems and integrated energy storage solutions.

The SUNESS team had face-to-face discussions with customers, distributors, system integrators and industry partners from Nigeria and other African markets, focusing on battery capacity, system configuration, application scenarios and energy storage solutions.

The EC-Mini Series offers capacity options from 5.12kWh to 16.08kWh and uses LFP battery cells with an intelligent BMS.

iRack-HVM High-Voltage Energy Storage

The iRack-HVM adopts a modular design with capacities ranging from 112.56kWh to 241.2kWh per unit.

The system supports up to 10 units in parallel, with a maximum configured capacity of approximately 2.41MWh. It also integrates an intelligent BMS and fire protection system for scalable commercial and industrial energy storage applications.

iCab-HVL-112 C&I Energy Storage

The iCab-HVL-112 provides 112.56kWh of energy storage capacity and features IP55 protection, up to 200A charge/discharge current, touchscreen monitoring, CAN and RS485 communication.

It is designed for applications such as commercial energy storage, backup power and solar-plus-storage systems.

SUN3.6U-5-US All-in-One Energy Storage

The SUN3.6U-5-US integrates a 3.6kW hybrid inverter, 5.12kWh LFP battery and MPPT into one system.

With grid connection, PV charging and <10ms UPS-level switching, the integrated design helps simplify installation for residential and small-scale energy storage applications.

Building Energy Storage Partnerships in Africa

NNEPIE 2026 provided SUNESS with an opportunity to better understand the energy storage needs of the Nigerian and West African markets.

Through direct communication with local customers and partners, SUNESS gained further insights into demand for residential battery storage, C&I ESS, backup power, high-voltage BESS and solar energy storage.

The exhibition has also created new opportunities for future cooperation with distributors, EPC companies, installers and system integrators.
